Charlyn Stanberry Joins Becker’s Federal Lobbying Practice
Former VP of Government Relations at National Association of Broadcasters
Washington, DC, September 1, 2026 — Becker, a multi-practice commercial law firm with attorneys, lobbyists, and other professionals, is pleased to announce that public policy and advocacy professional Charlyn Stanberry has joined the firm’s Government Law & Lobbying Practice in the D.C. office as a Senior Government Relations Consultant.
Charlyn joins Becker from the National Association of Broadcasters where she served as Vice President of Government Relations representing more than 8,300 broadcast entities before Congress and the executive branch while helping to shape critical media and communications policy. Earlier in her career, Charlyn served as Chief of Staff and Legislative Director for Rep. Yvette Clarke (NY-09), currently the Chair of the Congressional Black Caucus and a senior member of the House Energy and Commerce Committee.
Charlyn is also currently an Adjunct Professor at Florida International University, where she has taught federal advocacy and policy since 2022.
Charlyn is active in professional organizations such as the National Bar Association, where she was recently named President-Elect, and the Junior League of Washington where she served as President from 2024-2025. She received her JD from Florida International University College of Law, as well as a Master of Public Administration and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from the University of Central Florida.
Charlyn’s addition expands the firm’s Washington, D.C. lobbying practice, enhances its ability to help clients navigate complex political challenges and adds significant government, nonprofit and corporate experience.
