Becker is proud to celebrate Shareholder Ellyn Setnor Bogdanoff’s inclusion in South Florida Business Journal’s 2022 Influential Business Women, a list of the 25 most innovative, inspiring, and influential businesswomen in South Florida.
A former senator and shareholder in Becker’s government practice, Bogdanoff co-leads the firm’s early learning advisory group. She is also chair of the firm’s sea level advisory team and helped secure the passage of Florida’s “Always Ready” legislation, which provides more than $100 million a year to help communities affected by sea level rise. She also assisted the Rape Abuse & Incest National Network (RAINN) in securing the passage of a bill to provide a coordinated response to sexual assault allegations, and serves as chair of the DSO for the Statewide Council on Human Trafficking.
Ellyn says she owes her success to her parents, who gave her a great foundation and the right messages, though she also credits the many people in her life who believed in her and provided her with opportunity.
