Mike Grissom Joins Becker’s Government Law and Lobbying Practice in Tallahassee

Tallahassee, FL – February 19, 2019 – Becker, a multi-practice commercial law firm with attorneys, lobbyists and other professionals at offices across the Eastern Seaboard, today announced that Michael A. Grissom has joined the Government Law and Lobbying Practice as a Senior Government Relations Director based in the firm’s Tallahassee office.

Grissom was most recently the Executive Vice President for Enterprise Florida, Inc., (EFI) where he served as the chief liaison between EFI and the Executive Office of the Governor, State Legislature, and partnering state agencies including the Department of Economic Opportunity, the Department of Environmental Protection, the Department of Revenue, CareerSource Florida, Florida Department of Transportation and VisitFlorida.

Grissom is highly regarded for his experience with economic development issues including those related to aerospace and aviation, advance manufacturing, information technology, financial services, foreign direct investment, international trade and development and corporate relocation.

Prior to joining EFI, he served as Senior Director of Political Affairs at the Florida Chamber of Commerce and Executive Director of the Republican Party of Florida. Grissom also worked as a political strategist for Governor Rick Scott and Attorney General Bill McCollum, and led campaign efforts for key officials in Kentucky, South Carolina, Maryland and Pennsylvania.
