Becker is thrilled to announce that shareholder Yolanda Cash Jackson has been named “Outstanding Minority Partner at a Majority Firm” by the National Bar Association (NBA) Women Lawyers Division. This prestigious award exemplifies her numerous accomplishments in the community, the state of Florida, and the legal field.

Ms. Jackson accepted the award at the 2024 Annual Achievement Awards Breakfast in Las Vegas, hosted by the Women Lawyers Division of the National Bar Association. The event honored Yolanda and the other nominees for their exceptional achievements and contributions to the legal field.

Since 2010, Ms. Jackson has served on Becker’s Management Committee, overseeing all aspects of firm policy, operations, and strategic growth. She is also an experienced Government Law attorney and lobbyist, celebrated for her commitment to leadership and service in the community. Her dedication extends to civic, charitable, and professional organizations, where she has earned a strong reputation. Yolanda concentrates her practice in Governmental Relations, with a keen proficiency in state government funding and appropriations. She has fostered outstanding working relationships with several of Florida’s leading elected officials and policy makers.

The Women Lawyers Division of the NBA was founded in 1972 as a vehicle for women in the practice of law to address the issues and problems that particularly affect interest and concerns of African American women.

The NBA, founded in 1925, is the nation’s oldest and largest national network of predominantly Black attorneys and judges. It represents the interests of approximately 65,000 attorneys, judges, law professors, and law students.
