FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – Becker is proud to announce that Managing Shareholder and CEO Gary C. Rosen and Shareholder Yolanda Cash Jackson have once again been recognized in Florida Trend’s prestigious “Florida 500,” an annual publication highlighting the state’s most influential business leaders and executives. This year’s recognition reflects their exceptional leadership, professional accomplishments, and lasting impact on Florida’s legal, business, and civic communities.

Published annually by Florida Trend, the Florida 500 recognizes leaders who demonstrate influence beyond their organizations through community engagement, philanthropy, industry leadership, and meaningful contributions to the future of Florida. According to the publication, honorees are selected based on their demonstrated impact, leadership, and commitment to advancing their communities and industries.

Rosen, who joined Becker in 1982 and became CEO in 2012, has guided the firm through significant growth while advancing initiatives that blend innovation with community engagement. He has spearheaded key initiatives at Becker, such as the Becker Gives Back nonprofit partnerships and a professionalism pilot program in the Broward County Circuit Court. Rosen is also a past chair of the United Way of Broward County. “Leadership is about more than guiding a firm, it’s about setting a standard for service, innovation, and integrity,” said Rosen. “I’m grateful to be recognized alongside peers who share that vision for Florida.”

Jackson, a respected Government Law attorney, lobbyist continues to be a powerful advocate for her clients and the broader Florida community. Named Florida Trend’s Floridian of the Year in 2022, she was recognized for her groundbreaking efforts to expand opportunities for others and her pivotal role in securing Florida’s historic selection of Mary McLeod Bethune as the first African American to represent a state in the National Statuary Hall Collection. A past chair of the Miami-Dade Beacon Council, the county’s official economic development partnership, Jackson has long championed initiatives that attract investment, create jobs, and foster sustainable growth. In addition to her numerous accolades, she continues to play an influential role in securing critical state funding, shaping public policy, and mentoring the next generation of leaders. “Being included among Florida’s most impactful executives is a true honor,” said Jackson. “Florida’s economy is dynamic and full of opportunity, and I’m proud to play a part in helping businesses, institutions, and communities thrive across our state.”

The continued inclusion of Rosen and Jackson in the Florida 500 underscores their enduring influence, professional excellence, and commitment to making a meaningful difference throughout Florida. Becker is honored to celebrate their achievements and proud to have both leaders helping shape the future of the firm, the legal profession, and the communities they serve.
