Members are also expected to vote on bills concerning federal lands and Coast Guard operations.

Lawmakers will hold several committee hearings this week, including the following:

  • The House Transportation & Infrastructure Committee will consider the Federal Maritime Commission’s FY26 budget request as well as the future of FEMA’s disaster response.
  • The Senate Energy & Natural Resources Committee will examine challenges to increased electricity demand.
  • The House Oversight & Government Reform Committee will discuss the future of atomic energy.
