Becker Announces Strategic Leadership Roles for Continued Growth

Lauderdale, FL — Becker, a multi-practice commercial law firm with attorneys, lobbyists, and other professionals throughout the U.S., is proud to announce key additions to its leadership team as part of its continued commitment to strengthen practice areas and position the firm for future growth.

As part of this strategic vision, the firm has expanded the Vice-Chair role within several of its core practice groups, strengthening leadership structures and ensuring a depth of expertise and guidance in each area.

Construction Law & Litigation Practice: Sanjay Kurian has been named Vice-Chair, joining Lee A. Weintraub in this leadership role and working closely with Steven B. Lesser, Chair of the practice. This team will continue to steer one of the most respected construction law practices in the country, delivering exceptional results for clients.

Business Litigation Practice: Jon Polenberg takes on the role of Vice-Chair, working alongside Allen M. Levine, Chair of the Business Litigation Practice. Polenberg’s addition will help drive the practice’s continued success in navigating high-stakes litigation matters across diverse industries.

Government Law and Lobbying Practice: Omar Franco has been appointed Vice-Chair, joining Bernie Friedman, Chair of the practice. Franco’s federal lobbying experience will strengthen the firm’s renowned Government Law and Lobbying team.

Community Association Practice: Donna DiMaggio Berger and David G. Muller have been named Vice Co-Chairs of the Community Association Group and will work with Kenneth S. Direktor, its Chair. Their additions will ensure Becker maintains its reputation as an industry trailblazer in Florida.

In addition to these practice group leadership changes, Vincenzo M. Mogavero has been named Chief Business Officer, adding to his existing responsibilities overseeing litigation in Becker’s Northeast offices. In this expanded role, Vincenzo will work closely with CEO and Managing Shareholder Gary C. Rosen on firm-wide strategy and growth initiatives, ensuring Becker remains at the forefront of the legal profession.
