Becker’s Government Law and Lobbying Practice has been a core practice of the firm since its founding in 1973, assisting clients in advancing and achieving their legislative goals in Tallahassee and Washington, D.C. Our team consists of lawyers and policy professionals, including both current and former legislators, former legislative aides and chiefs of staff to former State and Congressional members, former high-ranking agency officials, and campaign managers for numerous elected officials.

What We Do
- Monitor and analyze proposed legislation and regulations to understand their implications and effects on a client.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their priorities and develop specific actions or policies to meet those goals.
- Arrange meetings with Florida House and Senate members, members of Congress and their staff, as well as with key officials from state and federal agencies, to effectively advocate for the goals and objectives of the client. Establish and maintain connections with state lawmakers and government officials.

- create effective and innovate strategies for achieving client initiatives, incorporating collaboration with the Florida Association of Counties, Florida League of Cities, National Association of Counties, and the National League of Cities.
